Yanov|this is one of a series of dual language editions of Russian classics published in an inexpensive format by Mr. Vassiliev. The coöridination of the Russian and English translation is well done, and the text is very readable. The translations preserve the constructions of the original within the bounds of idiomatic English.

This book contains The Kreutzer Sonata, Leo Tolstoy's afterword to The Kreutzer Sonata, and The Death of Ivan Ilyich. This is a dual-language book with the Russian text on the left side, and the English text on the right side of each spread. The texts are precisely synchronized.
